Classes

Classes are where the money goes to or comes from. They are the highest level for assigning expenses, income or budgets and for viewing totals. You may have a class for your family and a class for each member of it.

Class is similar to what some financial programs call Tag.

The list shows all current classes. Classes marked as obsolete are only shown if you select the menu option All Classes.

You may create a new class with the menu option New Class or by touching the identically named last item in the list (you get there quickly by pressing DEL on the keyboard).

You may view all the transactions of a class by long-pressing it in the list and selecting the option in the context menu.

There are also context menu options for editing or deleting a class.

If you delete a class, all its transactions will be deleted also (after confirmation).

If you rename a class, it will be renamed in all its transactions. It is permitted to rename it to an already existing name. This is useful for merging two classes.

By entering a letter on the keyboard, the list will be scrolled to the first class starting with the letter.
